The Serpent's Method

What serpent?!?!! There no serpent around me! What are you talking about?! Many of you who are reading this might be thinking of those. Now what I meant about serpent is Satan. Many people would agree that Satan equals the serpent or represent by the serpent. Now what are you talking about? The serpent's method?! Like a serpent bite people and kill them or send poison at people and kill them? No. I'll be talking about how the serpent/Satan uses his own method to trick Eve and us.

Eve is the mother of nature. She was the first female human/our old old ancient great great long long grandma. As Eve was in the Garden of Eden, she then somehow talked with Satan/serpent (I will use serpent). First thing the serpent do was ask Eve, (Genesis 3)"Did God really say, 'You must not eat from any tree in the garden'?" Eve answered, "We may eat fruit from the trees in the garden, but God did say, 'You must not eat fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the garden, and you must not touch it, or you will die.' " OHHH...problem right here....Eve had inserted a phrase that God did not say which is the touching part. God has never said the “must not touch” part. After Eve answered the serpent answered back, "You will not surely die, For God knows that when you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil." Then the serpent just leaves. Then this is what happened next: When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it.

Well, now everyone is asking me how is that the serpent's way of tempting us???? Now the serpent would first questions you.

“Did God really say....” doubt of God's word

Eve doesn't know God's word because she added the “must not touch”

“Your eyes will be opened...” “You'll be like God...” desire/temptation

Serpent just planted temptation in your heart

“For God knows...” doubt God's goodness

Eve is thinking 'so God knows that if I eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil then I'll gain wisdom more wiser than God” which causes doubt.

Now you will say what are you talking about?!??! Well what I'm talking about is that first the serpent will question Eve about God's word and testing if she know God's word. Then serpent would add desire/temptation into her heart. Now after that serpent would add a little bit more into her heart about doubting God's goodness. After that the serpent disappears. Why? So that your desire will grow and then just like Eve, she eats the fruit.

Like us, this is what the serpent would do to us: test us if we know God's word EXACTLY, and then the serpent would add some desire into your heart, and then doubting about God's goodness, and then at last disappears and make your desire grow in you. This is the serpent's method. Beware of this method and know that this will not work if you just pray to God for help. Pray Pray and Pray. This is one of the greatest method you will ever find to overcome Satan.

Last questions for you to answer:
Do you know God's Word EXACTLY?
What tempts you?
Do you trust God?
